DIRTY Hypnosis on Vegas.com

Normally going to a show entails that you quiet down, keep drinking to a minimum and refrain from overzealous whooping and hollering in response to what’s happening on stage, but not if you plan on seeing Dirty Hypnosis. This is one show where you are encouraged to get rowdy and set your inhibitions aside.

The bar, located in the middle of the showroom, facilitates a fun and very drinking-friendly atmosphere where people can really cut loose as “The Bad Boys of Hypnosis,” Michael Johns and Terry Stokes, host the show. Johns was the host on the night the show was attended.

“Tonight’s show is only as good as you want it to be,” says Johns. He explains that the true stars of this show are the audience members who get hypnotized. Once they do, there is no limit to the crazy things you might see on stage. However, Johns also ensures people who are thinking about being hypnotized that they don’t have to be afraid of doing anything too embarrassing.

“You will always remain fully clothed, as much as you know,” jokes Johns. “No one’s going to have to move out of their home town or change their name after the show.”

His sarcastic and edgy humor gets everyone in the mood for a good time. He asks people interested in being hypnotized to come on stage. After he has all of his volunteers situated, Johns does a brief induction with them. During the induction period, Johns asks the audience to be silent as he gradually gets his volunteers to experience a heightened level of relaxation.

After Johns is satisfied that all of his volunteers have reached a state of hypnosis, the real fun begins. He creates a series of outrageous scenarios, placing people in everything from a tropical Jamaican beach to an infomercial for adult toys. The volunteers’ unpredictable and uninhibited reactions paired with Johns’ quick-witted humor result in a night of outrageously funny comedy.

“I could stop now or take it to another level,” says Johns while encouraging the audience to really go crazy before he describes the next scene.

Nothing is taboo at Dirty Hypnosis, so be prepared for a wild time where you can enjoy a few drinks and laugh the night away.
